This onboarding approach treats the first-time user experience as a tightly choreographed narrative journey, broken into distinct emotional and functional phases.
The goal is to progressively teach users how to interact with characters and the platform, from light participation to full agency, while maintaining immersion, excitement, and narrative drive.
It draws inspiration from story-based tutorials, game master-led roleplay (like Dungeons & Dragons), and progressive disclosure UX patterns.
